Hazard

10+ inches of new snow and wind-drifted slab sitting on top of a weak snowpack. Potential for avalanches to break near the ground and entrain entire season’s snowpack.

Snowpack Observations

Riding Quality

Variable conditions. Found some OK pow shots in sheltered areas and wind affected snow in exposed areas above 10,000ft. Wind from the S/SE creating fresh wind slabs on the standard East-facing shots off North Walton. The gully is starting to ski better, though still sporty and super thin through there.
