Not a bad first day out. Terrain is filling in nicely. 4"-5" of blower on a supportive base. @ TL and BTL no signs of instability. I'd say that to safely ski the trees we still need another good 1.5'-2', but it's getting close!

Sat was fun!!!! A little late posting, but it was a good day. Erick's bomb hole was big enough for a 3 person jacuzzi...nice! I'm glad you walked away from that one. We decided to compact the rest of the landing zones so we can reset for the next storm. Sure doesn't feel like the beginning of December. We did not observe any signs of instability, but we did keep it pretty mellow with slope angle and below treeline.

Got in some classic Ptarmigan laps back on February 5th. Need to get back to CP more often. It never disappoints! I will take you up on one of the invites soon, TJ9. Nice to see Erick, Mike, and Nate ripping classic lines as well. Thanks for the PBRs!! A breezy day with partly cloudy skies. Zero cracking/collapsing. No avalanches observed. 2 summit laps, 1 full run and a tree lap.

Rough commute

Nice D-rock!

This weekend was good. Winds presented a little challenge, but in the end it was not as affected as one would think. North Diamond skied well.

Gold VW wagon with yakima racks. Thanks for breaking trail. Direct line to the ditch, no goofy switchbacks, safe route. You put in good work. Nice out track to the car too!

Found some fluffy noms on Sat. Not deep, but I'm not complaining. Day ended early during lap #2. I left a blown up binding puck up there for Ullr. Maybe that will bring in some goods for April...

Great day out yesterday skiing the X, Y, Z shots out of Lake Agnes. Besides moderate winds, weather was perfect and the snow was good and stayed dry on all but the sunnier aspects. We noted mostly non-reactive shallow wind slabs (10-15cm) along lee and cross-loaded features, as well as some large cornices. Surface snow was sluffing off while skiing steeper terrain, but otherwise found good stability everywhere we went. Looked like another group triggered a small skier-triggered slab on a shallow rocky feature off Braddock peak yesterday (looker's left of the Z).
