When the avalanche danger goes high along the Front Range, there are places I like to hide in the park. Yesterday was one of those days.

Opensnow said about 4" in RMNP, and that felt about right - good untracked in the less obvious places, but didn't completely hide the folly of days past.

It seems the closure of the Big Thompson Canyon this year takes the ease out of the trip for the Fort Collins crews (for another year). But not a great year anyway...Still a load of fun and finally getting some base up there.
