Pickles are cucumbers that sold thier soul to the Devil and the Devil was dill. RIP Mitch Hedburg....

I have been getting a lot of High alttitude biking in, one of my favorites has been the Serle Pass part of the Colorado Trail. It's a grunt of a climb but the veiws and downhill are worth it. A couple of pics....

A few weeks back I hiked a solo four day loop in the beautiful backcountry West of Missouri Lakes in the Holy Cross Wilderness. Here's some photos from that trip.

Trip to Monarch Crest TR...

Crazy good light show from a passing thunderstorm and the setting sun just outside of Buena Vista.

Image

Image

We rode the Crest as a loop, so we started out with a 12 mile pavement climb to get the legs warmed up.

Image

There is a fun section of singletrack between Old Monarch Pass and the Hwy. I was having too much fun to stop and take photos of it though.

Image

Monarch Crest TR: sweet, flowy singletrack!

I am not much of a fisherman but on a recent trip on the Upper C I was.... My uncle hooked me up with an egg, 20# stone rig and I caught four fish in twenty mins, biggest was a 19 inchRainbow... I am now more stocked to go fishing...

Saw this at Equinox. Not sure what this is about, I can only hope that proceeds from the sale are going towards a new splitboard.
